Jay Wagner (Robert Duvall) was framed for murder by his grandfather (John Huston) and sentenced to 28 years, so his wife hires an escape expert to break him out. When the expert (Charles Bronson) finds his first plan fails, he decides that there must be a leak and vows to keep his plans to himself.
